    The first KamCha (HK style milk tea) competition was first held in Hong Kong since 2009. The next year it became a worldwide competition being held in China, Canada as well as Australia, in order to promote and preserve this unique beverage of Hong Kong. It has been the sixth year that we have Hong Kong Trade and Development Council as our partner, to co-organize this meaningful event. Our theme for the year 2015 is “Community Harmony, Hope for the Youth”. Through the competition, we hope to spread the “HK Style Milk Tea” culture to different sectors of the society and also encourage and attract the young generation to join the Hong Kong local restaurant catering industry, together we promote the Hong Kong’s unique milk tea culture.

    International KamCha (HK Style Milk Tea) Competition 2015 will be held in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Toronto and Sydney, winners from each district will gather in Hong Kong to compete for the final Champion at Hong Kong International Tea Fair at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 15th Aug, 2015.

    Aiming at promoting authentic Hong Kong-style dining culture to every corner of the world, the Association of Coffee and Tea of Hong Kong (ACT) co-organizes with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Kampery Development Ltd, Hong Kong Tourism Board and the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong for the third consecutive year “The International KamCha Competition”.  Funded by the SME Development Fund of Trade and Industry Department of the HKSAR Government, this year’s event is going to be held in Hong Kong as well as in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Toronto and Melbourne to select the International King of KamCha among the world’s milk tea experts.  Besides, the “Yuan Yang Competition” will be held concurrently to select the best maker of Hong Kong-style yuan yang.  The International KamCha Competition 2012 Final will be held during the Hong Kong International Tea Fair at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 18 August 2012.
